Privacy policy

A plain-language explanation of how Freelance Work Tools handles data. Last updated June 25, 2026.

Calculator data

Calculator inputs and results are processed in your browser. The website does not require an account and does not store calculator entries in a database.

Local storage and cookie choices

We use localStorage to remember whether you accepted, rejected, or customized optional cookie categories. Essential storage supports privacy preferences. Vercel Web Analytics is used to understand basic site visits, page views, referrers, and top pages without adding Google Analytics or advertising scripts.

Public third-party data

Exchange-rate estimates may use Frankfurter public market data, and selected working-day estimates may use Nager.Date public-holiday data. These requests are made by the website during server rendering or regeneration where possible. Third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable.

Information you send us

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide and use it to answer your request. Do not send tax IDs, bank details, client-confidential material, or other sensitive financial information.

Hosting and technical logs

Hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical logs for security, performance, reliability, and privacy-friendly analytics. This policy must be updated before accounts, advertising, or additional tracking services are introduced.

Your choices

You can reopen Cookie preferences from the footer and clear local site data through your browser. Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@freelanceworktools.com.
